Open **Products → Taxes**: "Set regional tax rules that automatically apply to new orders."

## Create a Tax Rate

1. Select **+ New Tax Rate**.
2. Enter a **Tax Name**, the **Region**, and the **Rate (%)**.
3. Set **Status** to **active** or **inactive**.
4. Save.

The **Tax Rate Library** lists each **Name**, **Region**, **Rate**, and **Status**, with **Edit** and **Delete**. Summary cards show total, active, and inactive rates and the average rate.

## How Taxes Apply

Active tax rates apply to future orders. Existing orders are not recalculated automatically. The order total shows a **Tax** line with the rate name.

Confirm the correct rates for your location with your tax advisor. RE Media Hub applies the rates you enter.

## Create Button Labels

**+ Create Tax Rate** opens a new tax-rate editor; a compact header may show **+ New Tax Rate**. Review the rate and region before saving it as active.
