Tipping lets you "Capture and track optional tips from customer orders." Open **Settings → Integrations → Operations → Tipping**. No API keys, sign-in, or webhooks are required. The **Enable** / **Disable** toggle is the main control.

## When Tipping Is On

- Checkout and invoice payment forms can show an optional tip field where supported.
- **Collect Payment** lets staff add a tip while recording a payment.
- Tips are stored separately from the payment amount and included in payout and payroll tip totals.

## When Tipping Is Off

- Tip fields are hidden in checkout and invoice payment forms.
- Incoming tip values are ignored and saved as $0.

## Tip Rate Options

Choose the preset tip buttons customers see before checkout:

- **Use Default Tip Rates**, or
- **Use Custom Tip Rates**: show up to 4 custom percentage buttons.

Customers can still enter a custom dollar tip. Select **Save Tip Rates**.
