View As a Customer or Team Member

Owners and admins can open a session as another user to troubleshoot what that person sees. This is useful when a customer reports a missing order form or a team member cannot find an appointment. View a Team Member's Workspace 1. Open Team. 2. Find the team member and select View As. This option is available to the workspace Owner and Admin roles. 3. The workspace reloads with that member's menu and permissions. View a Customer's Portal You can start a customer portal session from either place: - Customers: select View As on the customer's row. It appears only when the customer has a portal login. - Customer Portal: in Customer Logins, select Log In As for that login. Return to Your Own Account Select Exit Impersonation in the top bar. In the customer portal, use the portal's Exit Impersonation or Back to Workspace control. Good Practices - Use View As to look, not to act. Actions you take may be recorded and can affect real records, such as placing an order or changing settings. - Platform owner access is blocked while you are viewing as someone else. Exit first before using any administrator-only tools. - If a customer cannot see an order form, check the form's Customer Access settings rather than changing their account. See Publish and Share an Order Form. Related Guides - Understand Team Roles and Access - Configure Customer Portal Access
